Nidecker have one upped their artwork offering this year with a collab cast into the 2018/19 Era, a brand new board for this year. Teaming up with French artist Agathe Toman (whose work has previously graced surfboards and Vans shoes alike) they’ve combo’d the only twin tip freestyle board in their range with her black and white artistic visuals, to create something that stands out pretty nicely in their lineup if you’re asking us.
See below for more on the board itself, and Nideckers words on the project:
We are proud to present a unique collaboration with French artist Agathe Toman.
Her striking black and white abstract pieces – created with a biro pens and acrylic paint – leave interpretation up to the viewer, but to her represent a moment in her own life.
“It’s about feelings, the ones that change your life and your inner self – positively or negatively. Those feelings that affect the rest of your existence, the most extreme events that happen to you in your life.”
From Huck Magazine, April 2016.
Having previously collaborated on surf projects, this winter you can find one of her artworks on the Nidecker Era, a natural fit considering the current resurgence of surfing’s influence on snow.
