Deeluxe X WOW Snowboard Boots

New collab boots dropping next winter

There’s a very fine line between genius and madness – but standingon top of it, holding the balance as it wobbles between either side like a tightrope, is WOW.

These collective of Japan-tastic imagineers are unlike anyone else in the snowboarding world, and their weekly web series (featuring a fluid lineup of supporting characters orbiting mastermind Keijiro Kasahara, aka Doggy) is always worth a look.

Not familiar with Doggy and his crew? The best place to start is the famous experiment episode from Season 6. If you’ve ever wanted to know what snowboarding on stilts would be like, or see a reductio ad absurdum take on rocker profiles, your search is over.

“These are just the ticket for WOW-style mini-shreds – or, should the mood strike, wearing on your hands”

Next winter WOW are getting their very own collab snowboard boots, courtesy of Deeluxe. We first spotted these beauties at ISPO 2018, but Doggy and his sidekick London have now provided a closer look – as only they can.

We’ll have more details on the boot’s features as we get them, but so far we can deduce that they’re just the ticket for WOW-style mini-shreds – or, should the mood strike, wearing on your hands.

Making commercials without going full Wayne and Garth isn’t easy – many have tried, and failed – but we reckon these guys have cracked the code.

As usual we need Google Translate to decipher the blurb:

“Collaboration boots will be released next fiscal year!
Moreover, it will be released not only in Japan but also in the world! !
Although it is easy, I made a commercial laugh”

Well said, Doggy-san. Nice! Ataaaaass!!
