We’ve debated it before (probably more than once actually), the best way to survive the summer. Skate, surf, take a summer job – the options are plentiful, and many of them are good, but (excluding dryslopes, indoor centres, glaciers, the southern hemisphere, etc.) they’re not quite snowboarding.
So enters the latest challenger trying to provide the next best thing…
2wheelboard is an Aussie invention with, you guessed it, two wheels, that looks surprisingly capable. With full no-back bindings, and inflated tyres for grass and mixed terrain, this seems to be pretty successfully at imitating the kind of stuff done on snowy streets in winter, at least in the hands of Utah Rejtano.
But even with the tweaks, tricks and lines it could open up is there real potential here? Or is this another board alternative destined for future car boot sales? Let us know what you think…
