You gotta know you’re pretty damn good when you get a pro model board. Even more so when Travis Rice rates you enough to do a spin-off of his own pro model. The access-all-areas ripstick T.Rice Pro spawns new kid on the block- The T.Ras.
Chris Rasman is an all-round badass, and you’ve probably seen him ripping shit up time and time again with The Manboys. He’s been riding Travis’ signature board for around a decade and Lib Tech thought it was finally time to honour him with his own.
“Chris Rasman is an all-round badass”
He’s gone for a collab with artist Aron Fredriksson to add his own flair to an already iconic board. Of course, it wouldn’t be a Lib Tech unless it was produced at their factory in the USA, with zero hazardous waste. Not only will you look good when you strap into this sick lil’ puppy, but you’ll be doing good too. The core is 60% Aspen to 40% Paulownia for the ultimate underfoot feel, and a perfect strength to weight ratio.
Utilising Mervin’s C2 camber profile, which combines rocker between the feet, with a longer cambered section under each foot. The rockered centre of the board produces crazy amounts of float when the snow gets deep. You can use the central rocker as a pivot point to load your back leg, and you end up with crazy amounts of nose lift. The camber underfoot keeps the board feeling lively and allows you to evenly load up the board’s edges on the hardpack.
A true all terrain vehicle, the T.Ras can rip just as hard through the park as it can in the backcountry. Libs Magne-Traction is in use down the edges, creating a distorted edge profile to offer more grip and stability when the snow is less than perfect. This is a board to do it all- and hey, if it’s good enough for Rasman, it’s good enough for us.
