We’ll hold our hands up and admit that we were too busy enjoying the various festive spoils to catch this when it first dropped over the holidays. Shame on us: it would have been one of the best park edits we’d seen all year. This edit features the RK1 crew which consists of all-terrain slayer Stale Sandbech (we like to think of him as a modern day Thor), equally well rounded Alek Oestreng (lets call him Tyr, the war god) and rail specialist Len Jorgensen (he can be Loki, the trickster in Norse mythology), plus friends Torgeir Bergrem, Torstein Horgmo, Kevin Backstrom, Ulrik Badertscher and Taka.
After a particularly random introduction by Steve-O, this menacing army of (predominately) Nordic orgin proceed to pillage the Breck and Keystone parks like there’s no tomorrow, leaving no jump unslain, no rail unscathed and no knuckle er… unhand-dragged. How effortless is Tyr? And how dope is that canonball grab by Loki at 3.31? We’re also loving the pace of this edit, with a nice choppy style that matches the speed that these guys hit features with. Incredible riding and surely a terrifying edit for their contest opponents. Expect these guys to be featuring heavily in this year’s slopestyle contests.
