So you might have heard that Nike have been running an amateur contest series called “The Chosen” right? Well, the national comps have now wrapped up, and next week sees the series finale take place in Montafon, Austria. The twelve ams who took the top spots at each of the national stages (including the UK’s Andy Nudds) will be joined by three crews, who won the Europe-wide filming contest, and alongside several of Nike’s biggest name pros (think Danny Kass, Halldor Helgason, Peetu Piiroinen, Scotty Lago, Gigi Ruf and others) they’ll get to play on this – possibly the best-looking park ever built. Nike have sent us a video, and a couple of sneak-peak camera shots showing what’s up.
As the crew explains, they’ve been busting their balls for a good while now to lick the snow into shape, and now, with two days to go, some of the craziest features ever designed are being raked, ready for shredding. Not only will the action no doubt be sick, but it also looks a hell of a lot of fun. Yes, we’re just a little bit jealous of Nuddsy and co. You can tell, can’t you?
