Shapers had to content with an inopportune dump of fresh pow, but managed to get the setup looking sweet without too much trouble. Like the previous rounds, the focus was on style and variation rather than techy wizardry. This of course meant more double grabs (Alex Reiner) and super-stalled-out spins (Oliver Reichegger).

In the end it was that rider’s brother Daniel Reichegger who booked his spot at the Chosen final with a bag of tricks fit to burst. And what better way to celebrate an Italian comp win that with a massive slice of pizza? When in Rome….
