Marko Grilc might just have the best job in snowboarding right now, travelling the world to seek out unique shred destinations, all on Red Bull’s dollar. This season he’s already been to Dubai, Halifax (?) and now Morocco.

Africa seems like an unlikely to plan a snowboard trip to, but as you can see from the footage it’s one of those magical places where you can surf and shred in the same day. What it lacks in waist deep powder is made up for by the abundance of cool mountain villages to jib around.

Seppe Smits joins him on a break from contest riding (life as a pro snowboarder is so hard right?) to surf, hold snakes and get some flippy/spinny shots against one of the most unique snowboarding backdrops we’ve ever seen.
