So said Willie Nelson, but the same could be said for snowboarding with friends. No matter how sick the resort, how deep the powder or perfectly groomed the park is, it’s the memories you make with your buddies that count.

Route One know this, that’s why they packed their team off into a campervan last winter and sent them out on an exploratory mission to the Alps to find the best previously unknown parks that Austria, Italy and Switzerland have to offer.

Will Radula-Scott, Cody Hierons, Si Belson and Rowan Biddiscombe and their story will all feature in WL117, due out next week.
