That was the plan behind Route One‘s team trip round Switzerland, Italy and Austria in March this year, with the full story documented for a future issue of WL, out later in the season.
But of course in this digital age photos aren’t enough anymore, so here is the official trip edit featuring Will Radula-Scott, Cody Hierons, Si Belson and Rowan Biddiscombe, produced by Ben Marshall.
Confronted with rather more snow than they were expecting for a spring trip, the guys braved the cold – and inevitable smells that come part and parcel with cramming six pairs of snowboard boots into a confined space – and ventured forth on a trip they’re unlikely to forget.
Lest we forget, fun times spent in amazing places are as much a part of snowboarding as the turns themselves – it’s the essence. Watch this and try not to get too jealous…
