Filming A Video Part With Dan Brisse: Quebec

[series align=left]

In this new series, Minnesotan madman Dan Brisse gives us a glimpse into what it takes to film a barnstorming video part.

For anyone who saw The Eternal Beauty Of Snowboarding, it goes without saying that putting together a shred part isn’t all larking about with cameras. It takes lots of time and Herculean amounts of effort, all the while hoping that none of the countless variables that exist during any shoot don’t derail everything.

As Dan filmed his contribution to the Union team movie, Stronger, things went south pretty quickly. A gnarly slam put him on the sidelines for a while, leaving him with much ground to make up.

Fortunately, Quebec delivered the goods. This street-riding Mecca was the perfect place to get some urban stuff in the can, and make a solid start to Dan’s part. Thanks to some top-drawer footage – including plenty of onboard GoPro cams – we get unrivalled access as he finally starts stacking shots.

Check back tomorrow to see the next instalment.
