As she and Taylor Godber documented in their Fingers Crossed series, it wasn’t the easiest of winters for Claudia Avon. On top of the usual trials and tribulations that freeriders encounter when pursuing their careers (which remains even tougher if you’re a woman), the weather often wasn’t helping matters any.

Even as the frustrations piled up, though, this plucky Canuck managed to dig deep and find some truly epic lines. Her full part rounds up the best of them, from her back yard in Whistler to Colorado and even Alaska.
