Similar to Snow Camp here in the UK, the good people at 686 run their own Compton Snow Club programme out of LA, enabling at-risk kids and youth to experience something different from their usual lives and getting them sliding sideways on snow. For some this was the first time they had even seen snow in real life.
Along for the day were 686 pros Forest Bailey, Mike Gray and Melissa Evans, on hand to give demos, encouragement and a supporting hand or two.
Man, watching peoples’ faces whilst learning to ride is one of life’s pure joys. Priceless.
