Along with Cheryl Maas, Kjersti is one of slopestyle’s elder stateswomen, with a career that only a handful of riders could ever hope to emulate.
Never mind the fact that she’s appeared at four Olympics (including snaffling a bronze in 2006), she’s also represented Norway across two disciplines: halfpipe initially, then slopestyle when it was finally introduced last year. Her all-round ability meant she was able to make both look easy, and still bothers the podium at slopestyle events all over the world. A cast-iron legend.
