In the world of professional snowboarder interviews, where any response other than “I’m just stoked for myself/my opponents/the world at large” is unusual, Danny Davis’ answers to Dustin Craven’s questions about Shaun White (saying he’s happy Shaun got beaten, and questioning his highly scored second run) are a serious deviation from the script.
They’re also refreshingly frank, and a breath of fresh air. Let’s hope we see more of Danny this season, and more of people saying what they really think.
