As some of you may already know, one of our young guys Greg Samuel had a bad bail recently in Colorado, over shooting a jump on a BS rodeo and taking a big hit to the head. He is currently in a coma but recent reports say that his condition is improving steadily. Whitelines wishes Gregor a full and speedy recovery – hopefully we’ll see him shredding again in no time.

So you will all know that Greg had a bad slam. He over shot a jump on a BS rodeo and hit his head badly. He has been in hospital for a few days now and he is stable. The doctors seem confident but are unable to say to much at the moment. They say that the pressure on his brain has dropped and the oxygen level is back to normal. They did tests by hurting his hands and feet to see if he would react and he responded well. His pupils seem normal and he is starting to fidget. The doc said that they don’t really want him to wake up just yet. They described it like this “if you break your arm, the best thing you can do is to rest it. Same with the brain.” if he wakes up then stress could put pressure back on his brain. His mum is out there now and his dad is on the way out soon. No matter what it will be a long recovery and they may be there for Christmas. The bonus is that he is fit and tough and will be fighting hard to get back on his feet!
Our support and best wishes are with Greg and his family. If you would like more up to date information on Greg’s condition or wish to show your support please visit the get well Greg group on facebook.
