6 Tricks We Like More Than Triple Corks

SICK OF TRIPLE-HYPE? FEAST YOUR EYES ON THESE CLASSICS

Imagine taking a BS180 and a backflip (already classic tricks in their own right) and then combining them with a bit of a twist… You’d have a backside rodeo – an absolute beauty of a trick. There are some fine examples in the clip above, as well as some pretty sick frontside rodeos, which involve opening your shoulders into the cork rather than closing them.

When Peter Line first threw the backside one in Mack Dog’s Simple Pleasures (at 2.28 in the clip below) it looked like the ultimate headf*ck of a trick, and had riders all round the world scratching their heads. Because here’s the thing – this is much more than it’s component parts. For a true rodeo (like Peter’s here) you don’t actually go fully inverted, but it looks all the more stylish for it.
