The guys at Waxed Up are putting together a rad sounding competition at Gloucester Ski & Snowboard Centre next month, a team battle where mixed groups of four riders will have to put together a synchronised run through their park to get those all important points.

Waxed up : Gangs of Gloucester is a new idea for a slopestyle competition, The format is a four person team that can be made up of a mixture of skiers and snowboarders. The slope will have two lines an easy line and a hard line consisting of jump and jib features which the teams will hit in a train one after another. The best choreographed team wins the contest. The contest is open to everybody in the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of something new and exciting that has the potential to grow into a series of contests all over the UK.
There will be a snowboard test and demo day with many top brands such as Lib Tech, GNU and Bataleon, as well as a BBQ, bar and loads of prizes!
To enter the competition you must have a crew of four riders all competent at freestyle. Each rider is £10 so £40 for a team, simply email [email protected] or call Gloucester Ski Centre on 01452 501438 and register your team.
