The Snowball Rally organisers are back, this time with more events to see you through the summer months. If you’re England-bound and still looking to satisfy that adrenaline junkie within, then they are worth checking out. From marathon running to peak climbing, they aren’t exactly snow-related but the aim is to raise money for Snow Camp who give disadvantaged inner-city kids their first taste of pow, training them right up to instructor level.
First up is the Brighton Marathon on 14th April – though you may need to squeeze a bit of training in before then. The London2Brighton Walk on 25th May is just a casual 100km, but walking this time, not running.
Or, if cycling is more your thing, they’re organising the Moonriders London2Brighton Cycle on 12th July. Same idea but this time in the dark and on wheels.
A 15,000ft skydive is planned for later in the year, as well as the epic National 3 Peaks 24hrs Challenge, a pretty self-explanatory mission, not for the faint hearted. It’s all for a good cause – and will slot nicely into that summer fitness regime to keep you in shape for next season.
