Yep, you heard that right. Keith Flint and the Prodigy boys will be rocking the town walls of Mayrhofen at this year’s Snowbombing music festival, which runs from 4th to 9th April 2011. Anyone who’s ever experienced Austrian apres ski will appreciate that the locals know how to party frikkin’ hardy, so with a bit of ‘Firestarter’ sweeping through the forest-clearing venue things could get very mental indeed. In the unusually poetic words of the press release, ‘musical napalm’ shall be unleashed!

Whitelines was at Snowbombing this year, and while the riding tends to take second fiddle to getting mashed, we had a great time. With the biggest headliner yet now in place for 2011, we reckon we could be persuaded to risk another hangover… or five. In the meantime, here’s a bit of classic Prodigy. Oh and incidentally, the band are keen snowboarders. See you on the hill then Keith!
