Oakley Jib Vid open for entries

http://mpora.com/videos/JDbFxr2ED The Oakley Jib Vid competition 2010 is now open for entries. The popular contest, which sees teams of riders and filmers making a short snowboard film, will be returning to the Austrian mecca of Mayrhofen this year, where the Vans Penken Park provides more than enough obstacles to film on.

This year’s contest, which will take place between March 17th and 19th, is (as always) open to anyone, regardless of ability level. Even skiers are invited to submit applications, and the best bit is that successful team applicants get their accomodation, 2-day liftpass and lunch on the mountain paid for. There’s also a €10,000 prize purse to be won, so the best few films take away significant amounts of cash. So if you fancy yourself as a snowboard film-maker, or want to launch yourself as a snowboard film superstar of the future, then head over to www.jib-vid.com and get involved!

Oh and if you feel like a bit of light entertainment, check out our entry from last year.
