Sumer may mean more dome shreds, but it also gives a shot in the arm to dryslopes all over the country. Next month alone we’re pretty spoiled: there’s the start of the Southern Freestyle Series at Swadlincote, while futher north there’s the return of the Kendal K-Jam.
On Sunday 29 May, the unique green Snowflex slope of Kendal will host its flagship freestyle comp for the fifth consecutive year. As well as a full day of competition, there’ll be an airbag and lots of off-hill entertainment. £10 covers your riding for the day, while the same again will get you a full hour on the bag.
The K-Jam is now a well-established drymat comp, and is all set to be another banger in 2011. Catch up on last year’s action here.
