Wow, I don’t know about anyone else, but it seems like ages ago that Kevin Pearce knocked himself out – and knocked himself out of contention for the whole season. While the news we’ve been drip-fed by his family so far has been largely positive, more than a few people were asking when Kevin would be well enough to tell us about his own recovery.

Well now, thankfully, the waiting is over. Late yesterday, the man himself posted this on his well-wishers’ facebook page: “Hey everybody, I’m here with my brother Adam. I am so stoked by how much support and love you have all shown for me and my family. Thanks for reaching out in so many different ways. I am getting better every day although still have a long way to go. -Kevin”

Nice one Kevin! Let’s hope he travels that long road to recovery quickly…
