New has reached Whitelines HQ that the organisers of the Horsefeathers Pleasure Jam are gearing themselves up for a big one in this, their 7th year.
The 4-star TTR World Tour contest, which takes its name from the German snowboarding magazine Pleasure will be heading back to the Dachstein Glacier this November, just before the start of the season proper.
This year’s event will take place in the Atomic Superpark up on the Glacier, between November 13th and 15th. Some of the biggest superstars in the world of snowboarding are expected to turn up to compete for the US$15,000 prize purse, but large sections of the park will also be open to ordinary riders who want to shred in-between the action.
Here’s what the organisers have to say about the park: “Since 2004, QParks, the biggest quality label in the German-speaking area, has taken the Atomic Superpark Dachstein under its wings, guaranteeing excellent quality and condition of the set-up throughout the season. As usual, the team around headshaper Bernd Mandlberger will have many surprises on offer, serving all skill levels, beginners and pros likewise.”
What with the world-class competition taking place at the same time, the Horsefeathers Pleasure Jam could potentially be an awesome option for a pre-season weekend shredding sesh.
