Genuinely one of the most fun-filled films we’ve seen in years, Nitro’s The Bad Seeds harks back to the Robot Food era of shred movies
Praises be! Ever since we caught the London première last month (see WL issue 116) we’ve been stoked to finally share our love of this film with you, the readers.
Genuinely one of the most fun-filled films we’ve seen in years, Nitro‘s The Bad Seeds harks back to the Robot Food era of shred movies, focusing on the simple fun that can be had from sliding sideways rather that mind-bending bangers.
Not that the hammers are lacking though, there are some truley insane feats scattered throughout this, not least the gigantic ‘Hippy Jump’ session (that back three method…), Eero Ettala‘s pressed-to-fuck nose bonk frontflip and Dominik Wagner‘s huge ender.
But rather than assaulting you with and endless stream of shot-from-two-angles stunts that – whilst impressive – are a whole world away from your average citizen’s experience of riding, this is just a way radder version of what you’d go out and do with your mates. Slashes, methods, penguin slides, bails, group party runs and apres shenanigans.
Plus, it has a banging soundtrack. And Elias Elhardt. Yup, that about does it for us.
Watch it.
