Shred Bot Mark McMorris had to get up super early last weekend to fly all the way out to Beijing for the Air and Style (if you haven’t seen the winning runs yet, be sure to catch them here). Now we’ve all had to catch an early flight before and it’s not the most enjoyable experience ever but could Mark sound any less enthusiastic about catching his flight? C’mon dude, didn’t your parents ever tell you not to mumble?

Anyway’s once out there it looks like he woke up a bit (maybe thanks to his flight upgrade?) – at least enough to chuck a backside triple cork 1440 in the competition. The slight hand drag unfortunately meant that he lost out to Mathias Weissenbacher in the third round and no doubt he would have been frustrated to see Yuki Kadono take the win with the very same trick. Such is life.

There have already been a fair few Shred Bots episodes from Mark and Torstein and if the rate that they are dropping at is anything to go by, they’ll be many more on the way in the coming weeks.
