The stage is set for a dramatic climax to the inaugural Natural Selection Tour, with the top riders from the previous two stages heading to Tordrillo Mountain Lodge in the hopes of being crowned Tour champion. Returning to the head-to-head format of Jackson Hole, hopeful riders will battle it out on some of Alaska’s most technical and awe-inspiring terrain. The riders have already selected their preferred lines and judges will be on location to judge the winner in each of the matchups.
“This is it. Alaska provides the most optionality and room for creative expression for big mountain freestyle riding” – Travis Rice
The men’s riders include Mark McMorris, Ben Ferguson and Mikkel Bang, the top three riders at Jackson Hole, and Chris Rasman who was the top finisher at Baldface-Valhalla. For the women, the finals competitors include Zoi Sadowski-Synnott, who won at Jackson Hole, Robin Van Gyn, the winner at Baldface-Valhalla, and Hana Beaman. Beaman, who finished third at Jackson Hole, was invited in the place of runner up Marion Haerty who unfortunately can’t make it to Alaska due to new U.S. pandemic travel restrictions.
