Everyone loves a big fluffy fleece. If you don’t, the Adidas Polar Anorak will change your mind. As you’d expect from any Adidas Snowboarding product, the Polar Anorak fleece looks snazzy enough to be worn on its own but it also provides all the comforts you’d expect from a good fleece mid-layer.

If you aren’t looking to spend too much money on a new mid-layer, but still want to have something that does a better job when it comes to wicking sweat than your average cotton hoodie, investing in a fleece is probably your best bet.

The modern-day fleeces are much more lightweight and slimmer than many of us remember them being back in the day. With the slim fitted Adidas Polar Anorak, you can easily fit this underneath a more fitted outer layer without any excessive bulk compromising your range of movement.

As a fabric, fleece is very breathable. The material is naturally porous, allowing for plenty of avenues for air to escape out into the environment. By making it easier for moisture to escape, and thanks to the fleece’s quick drying time, Adidas’s Polar Anorak offers both comfort and warmth throughout the whole day.

The only downfall with fleece is that it is typically made of polyester (which comes from plastic). If no recycled polyester is being used, it just means more new plastic going into the production of clothing. Obviously, this isn’t ideal for sustainability goals and the future of the planet.

Nevertheless, we are stoked on the whole new winter 2020 Adidas Snowboarding line – with the Polar Anorak being no exception. Its clean-cut design, warmth, and ‘snug but not too tight’ fit is great for wearing underneath a jacket or simply on its own.
