Lib Tech has continued their collaboration with legendary surf shaper Matt Biolos on their Lost Collection with the introduction of the brand-new Quiver Killer. The Quiver Killer does exactly what it says on the tin, it negates the need to have four or five snowboards with you on a trip. Want to razz through the park boosting kickers? Go for it. Found a sweet powder bowl that’s calling your name? Be our guest. Want to burn off your nipples Eurocarving down fresh corduroy? Enjoy it all with the Quiver Killer.
Matt shaped his first snowboard in the early 80’s and has been ripping up at Mammoth and scoring lines ever since then. Drawing inspiration from the surf scene, Matt and the crew at Lib Tech are making snowboards with progressive and potentially revolutionary shapes.

Unlike other Lib Tech boards, the Lost Collection doesn’t utilise their Magne-Traction edge profile. This gives an old school feel to your riding, reminiscent of a late 90’s full camber cannon.
Mervin’s C3 profile has a smidgen of mellow rocker in between the feet, with powerful, camber sections from the inserts out to the contact points. You’ll find an aggressive ride, with the front camber engaging through the beginning of the turn, holding and railing through the middle and then a strong exit from the back foot. Blunted tip and tail lower the swing weight of the board and reduce the total length without affecting the amount of edge and base that will actually be in contact with the snow.

The playground that we snowboard in is reliant on certain weather, there’s only a few months a year where we can score the perfect conditions to shred. This window is getting smaller every year, and that’s thanks to climate change. Lib Tech are doing their part to combat it with their greener production methods, including using water based inks, recycled wood and plastic and powering their factory with hydro and wind power.
