There’s plenty to look forward to in Giro’s helmet and goggle lineup for the 2020/21 season: collabs, tech innovations, new models and redesigned fan favourites.
The key highlight for next season will be Giro’s all-new Contour goggle. With a toric lens shape and Giro’s VIVID by Zeiss technology, the Contour offers as much clarity and contrast as the best on the market. But it’s the new EXV+ frame design that marks the biggest upgrade for this newcomer. As Giro explains, “the Contour features a proprietary, semi-spherical lens curvature, (6 x 1.5 degrees)”. Or, as we say: you’ll see loads more out the corner of your eyes.

Giro continues to collaborate with POW (Protect Our Winters) for the fourth year running with the Grid MIPS helmet and Axis goggle. A portion of the proceeds from these sales will continue to help in the fight for the planet. Plus they look pretty dope, too.
For the helmets, next season will see the arrival of the Grid/Envi MIPS helmets. These super-light, super ventilated helmets will be ideal for anyone yearning to get off-grid and either hike or skin lines in the backcountry, or just for someone who want’s the protection without the bulk and weight of a conventional hard-shell.
