In case you hadn’t noticed, you’re currently looking at our brand spanking new website! The fruit of several weeks worth of blood, sweat and tears, the shiny new Whitelines.com is packed full of fun stuff to look at, read, watch and click on.

Check out our new competitions section, where you can win a choice of several brand new boards, or Tyler Chorlton’s complete setup. We’ve also got an extra special comp that gives you the chance to become a snowboard film-maker by editing footage from this year’s Absinthe film, featuring riders like Nicolas Müller, Travis Rice and Gigi Rüf!

We got a new news section, as well as a whole heap of teasers and videos for you to watch on our brand new player. All the best bits of the old site have been dusted down and smartened up, including the collection of awesome wallpapers, trick tip videos and snowboard film soundtrack listings.

But there’s a lot here that’s completely new. You can now post comments on everything on our site, or join the debate over controversial issues like the world’s first-ever 1620 or Louie Vito’s presence on Dancing with the Stars.

Check out the Editor’s choice section, where we’ll post classic videos and interesting articles and interviews from previous issues. Join the debate over whether “boarding” is an acceptable term or watch Chris Dufficy’s classic section in True Life before you meet the man himself at Tamworth this Saturday.

Best of all, you can now upload your own videos of you snowboarding to the Whitelines site! All you have to do is head to our server site Mpora.com and upload footage of you and your mates shredding, chilling in the snow or hurting yourselves, and tag it whitelines. We’ll stick it in the brand new Your Vids section. You can do the same with you photos of snowboarding in the new Your Pics section. We want to see all your shots and videos from last year’s UK shred session, when many of us skived off work to take our boards to inner-city rails and the rolling hills of England’s green and pleasant land. Again, upload them on Mpora.com and tag ‘em whitelines.
Of course, you can now comment on each others photos and take the piss out of your mates falling over on film – or point us to them on Twitter, Facebook or via a comment, and we’ll take the piss for you! We’ll be picking out the best reader photo and videos for inclusion in our Friday Fix, and there’ll be prizes to be won for the coolest and/or most amusing entries, so get ‘em up!
