We’ve been lucky enough to take it out for a charge and, on top of being one of the most aptly named snowboards you’ll come across, it’s also one of the most exciting we’ve ridden this year.
Super popular models like the Mercury and DOA remain largely unchanged, although CAPiTA have added another three wide sizes to the latter, meaning it now comes in a massive 12 different options to fit anyone looking for a 148 up to a 161W.
The Navigator also goes under the knife and gets a complete nip-tuck around the nose and tail. It takes on more of a classic freeride shape and, combined with the new Alpine V1 profile, re-calibrates the Navigator as one of Capita’s best powder hunting explorers.

Lastly, the Spring Break Powder Twin (which sounds a little oxymoronic), is a shape that’s starting to appear more frequently in many brands’ quivers (think: Bataleon Magic Carpet, Yes 2020, Weston Hatchet). Coming in a 156, 159 and 162 with a waist width going from 26.8 – 27.8cm, it’s as equally well suited to freestylers who find themselves in a powder field as it is large riders who want a board to lap in the park and switch things up.
