DCP and JF Pelchat are the two greatest things to have come out of Quebec since… wait, what else has come out of Quebec? Is that where the French language was invented? No, that can’t be right. Anyway, the two rider driven brands have been a regular pairing in the backcountry since day one, so it’s only fitting that they should have their own collab.
These sit just past halfway on the flex ratings and make this one of the most versatile offerings in NOW’s line. The Skate tech is, as always, the main star of the show and delivers that smooth edge to edge transmission with minimal effort. The Hanger 1.0 might be is just a fraction smaller so will offer a really snug fit and limit the need to crank the bindings extra tight (which is exactly how you want to ride NOW bindings anyway – let the pivot motion do the work for you).

For those with a penchant for switching boards at the last minute, the tool-less Kingpin allows you to quickly unscrew the binding from its posts and swap them onto another deck without ever having to go near the screwdriver – providing you have another an additional post already screwed onto your other snowboard, of course.
Things are kept comfy and lightweight with the Sieva heel straps and minimalist toe straps. Though not the top shelf offering from Now, they provide ample support for any aggressive riders and do away with the excess glues and materials.
The only change-up for this year comes in the trickle-down tech of the new carbon buckles. That’s the only pure carbon additive you’ll find here though, something which keeps these bindings a safe distance from the more pedigree, high-speed, carving options in the line.
