The Board of Directors may draw up connotations of old, white guys sat around the table acting for the interests of the few, but this premier deck in Endeavor’s Foundation series really does represent the masses. As with all of Endeavor’s snowboards, it comes in a unisex size range with almost 20 centimetres between top and bottom ends in the scale. In terms of its performance, it covers an even wider spectrum.
The 3D camber is a full tip to tail camber, but the contact points have been slightly scooped up, to give a very subtle “spoon” shape in the nose and tail. This offers the best of both worlds. You get a snappy, powerful feel and all the rebound normally associated with traditional camber with a looser, more forgiving, feel at the ends that doesn’t compromise the board’s overall pop (as often experienced in more common, camrock profiles).

As with all Endeavor snowboards, it features channel inserts, beefed up with birch wood reinforcements. They’ll fit almost every binding out there and provide you with infinite stance options and a really natural underfoot flex pattern.
Internally, the BOD features triax fibreglass layups, with additional carbon beams running from the inserts out to the nose and tail. You’ll definitely feel the performance in the board’s ends, and it’s a really stable ride at higher speeds (especially with the additional dampening from the Smoothride urethane sidewalls). Thankfully, though, the true twin shape and softer flex between the feet doesn’t pigeon hole the board to hard-charging, freeriders only.
All of that sits atop the fastest, toughest sintered base on the market. It’s no surprise then that the board comes with a more serious price point. Still, it’s a hell of a lot cheaper than buying two – the BOD might be the only snowboard you ever need.
