The Manifest is a board that’ll stick its feet up and make itself at home no matter where you take it. A powder friendly, piste ripping, kicker smashing rip stick? Count us in.

A set-back camber section between the feet lets you get down and dirty with your carves and you’ll be yearning for turning when you get up on your edge. It’ll be dynamic and poppy on piste, and the Carbon Darkweb stringers under each binding will increase the torsional response, so edge to edge you’ll be lightning.

The carbon infused Tri-ax topsheet is lightweight and responsive without being twitchy. The combo will work with the Darkweb to make sure your heel to toe is second to none.

The Manifest is stiff enough to give you stability when you need to be stomping landings and aggressive enough to be able to handle the gnarlier terrain. Geared toward a more experienced rider who wants to be able to power through the chop and crud without a second thought, the Manifest is a bulldozer when it comes to piste smashing.

When you get the chance to take this little beauty into the powder you’ll benefit from the elongated rocker in the nose, and having your weight centred more over your back foot will accentuate the already prominent lift.

A tribute to fallen K2 comrade Aaron Robinson this deck personifies his vibrant and fun loving attitude, and is a worthwhile team and fan favourite.

Tester’s Verdict

Rob McCreathWhitelines

“Ah, I don’t really know where to go with this one. I wanted to love it. It looks sick, and the outline of blunt nose and tail is right up my street. I just really struggled to get along with the Manifest.

It feels exactly waking up at 8am – pretty stiff, with no wiggle room. I’m not sure what it was but I found it pretty hard to pedal this one. I kept commuting my body into the turn but the board wouldn’t follow and it was only by the end of my second run that I felt like I had more of a grasp as to how it handled. Lazy riders need not apply. The Manifest requires your full attention on the turn.

“Here’s where the Manifest feels at its best, bulldozing on a single axis”

I sort of accidentally discovered the board’s hidden strength through the above mentioned. When turns weren’t feeling great, I just straight-lined instead. Here’s where the Manifest feels at its best, bulldozing on a single axis. I could pop off all the bumps and ruts and come land safely back down.

That was enough to inspire the confidence to take a lap through the jump line. I could never make this my board of choice for the park, but someone with a tendency for scaring the living bejesus out of themselves will enjoy pushing themselves on this one, safe in the comfort of knowing that even if you wanted to swerve the kicker line, the Manifest can’t turn. So you’re going over whether you like it or not.”

Tester’s Verdict 2018/19

Jon Birdldmountaincentre.com

“The new K2 Manifest offers the serious all mountain rider a one board quiver. It felt instantly stable and controlled, with a smooth edge-to-edge ride ride.

“A lot of tech for your buck”

The Manifest coped with everything I put in front of it, giving confidence in its control even on the most technical terrain.

This is definitely a reliable one board quiver at a great price point, with a lot of tech for your buck. A seasonaire’s snowboard, for sure.”
