Keegan Valaika is one of Burton Snowboards’ new generation of super shredders. Having only turned 21 years old this week, he’s somehow mixing a full time professional career on the global team with studying for a college degree and starting his own business, Gnarly Clothing. Man, when I was 21 I was just about getting it together to clean chalet toilets for a living! There’s some decent riding clips spliced into the interview from some of Keegan’s lesser known homies, as well some footage of the man himself slaying a few rails. It’s interesting to hear he rides the stiff-ish Burton Love model on the streets as well as the hill – and that lanky team mate Mikkel Bang rides a 152 in powder. What’s that all about?!
