UPDATE: Check out our review of the 2018/2019 Bataleon Goliath here
Gone is the ‘+’ suffix of the last few seasons, but the Bataleon Goliath remains a fine addition to anyone’s board bag. For 2017/18 it’s been given a new outline, as well as a few other tweaks.
“A true all-rounder, the Bataleon Goliath is aimed at the rider looking for a one-board quiver”

A true all-rounder, the Bataleon Goliath is aimed at the rider looking for a one-board quiver. Its slightly directional shape means that freestyle isn’t off the table, but you can feel confident when charging through all snow conditions, too.
Two carbon stringers run from end to end, stopping short of the board’s extremities to leave a bit of give, so you can still press it when you want to (and you will, thanks to the Triple Base Technology). The 3BT is freestyle friendly, with a mid-wide centrebase that keeps you stable at speed, whilst the uplifted side sections come into their own when buttering or pressing (not to mention when blasting through powder).
The beech that runs along the sidewalls has been replaced with bamboo which, with its famous strength-to-weight ratio, is ideal for protecting your edges. Meanwhile the new ‘SideKick’ tech at the widest points deliver even smoother turns than 3BT already did.
Another winner from Bataleon, then – and since it boast the biggest range of sizes in the brand’s range (including a few wides), there’s a Bataleon Goliath for everyone.
