The Details:
Endeavor is a Vancouver-based company that’s big with Canucks (including Prime Minister Justin Trudeau) and others alike. They’re the masters of the early release (this Run DMC board, for instance, and an upcoming line of powder shapes), but their main focus is on their core line of 12 boards.
The Endeavor KT features the brand’s highest specs that you’ll also find in the High Five and the Clout, but this is the only one with the ‘All-Terrain Freestyle’ shape. It has a flat base – always a good choice for an all-rounder – as well as raised contact points to further reduce the likelihood of an edge catch.
Going back to the tech, it’s much the same as last year; a high-quality sintered base, carbon and Kevlar for pop and strength, and a seamless urethane sidewall that’s fused right to the core for dampening nasty chatter in uneven terrain. Throw in a fairly stiff flex, and you’ve got a true twin that’s not just for the park.
Endeavor are the only non-Burton brand that has licenced The Channel, so as well as any standard bindings you also have the option of going for a pair of Burton EST. They’ve also doubled the number of available sizes for 2016/17, so you can get just the right ride.
