Vice Magazine’s VBS has been making this damn fine series of documentaries on the pioneers of snowboarding called Powder & Rails. Second up this season is Tom Sims – and here’s the second part of the documentary on him. Classic early footage combined with interviews with the original dudes. Well, well worth a watch. And interesting that the whole thing’s sponsored by Burton but is full of comments about how Jake wanted to pull everything in a alpine slalom-style direction, and it was really Sims who pushed the sport to be what it is today…
