It may only be June, but it’s already been a good year for some – Colin Firth, Alex Salmond and Pippa Middleton’s arse, to name but a few. Also on that list is Canadian freak-of-nature Sebastian Toutant, who”ll surely look back at 2011 as one to remember:
Where to start? Well, January, obviously. The boy wonder took first place in the X-Games slopestyle with a mind-bogglingly brilliant routine, featuring a double cork 1080 that pretty much tanked the argument that doubles can’t be as steezy as hell. He also took second at X-Games Europe in March with a whopping score of 98.00. If that weren’t enough, Seb’s triple cork in April made him the third rider to stomp one, and it’s likely he’ll be the first to get both frontside and backside in the bag.
Obviously aware that it’s been almost two months since he last made our jaws hit the floor, Seb has now released this compilation of his whole season. Present and correct are the big highlights we mentioned, but there’s also heaps of great stuff that we haven’t seen before. From the ‘duodecuple kink’ (yes, we looked that up) to an insane backside 3 on to 5050 to front 1 out, he’s got serious urban chops as well. Again, it’s only June, but could this be the part of the year?
