From the first stop at Castleford to the main event in Munich, the riding standard was always crazy. It was good to see local riders getting coverage usually reserved for bigger names – it just shows how much talent there is out there under the radar.

Our own Tom Guilmard won the first heat and booked his place in the final, where he and invited rider Jamie Nicholls threw down against an impressive field. As you can see here, Jamie was incredible in the final, narrowly missing out on the top spot. Winner Mike Casanova was on form though, so there was no shame to be had in losing to him. Also, to finish three places ahead of Keegan Valaika in a rail jam is a massive victory in itself!
