We’ve been waiting a long time for this one: a proper, no holds barred banging full part from our finest Yorkshire export (or on par with the tea at the very least…) – Jamie Nicholls. As you’ll gather from this two and a half minutes or so of stupidly clean rail and kicker hits, Jamie has had a blinder of a season, bagging shots at the Nike Chosen sessions, filming out in Iceland with the Nike team (which you can read more about in issue 104 of Whitelines we’ll have you know…) and training with Hamish McKnight and the GB freestyle snowboard team. Many of Jamie’s recent international successes have been landed at rail events such as the Burton Rail Days (in which he placed 2nd a few weeks ago), but Jamie definitely has the skills to hold it down on the kickers as well. Backside 1260 anyone (1:05)? And how rad is that backside 540 tweaker at 00:47? All in all this is an incredibly impressive showcase from our brightest Olympic hopeful. If you saw him shredding without knowing his background it would be hard to believe that this kid grew up riding a snowflex kicker right?
