Top 5: Friday Finds of 2012

Friday’s are awesome. The weekend’s only a stone’s throw away and it’s that much easier to get away with a spot of ‘research’ when your boss is down the pub for lunch himself. All year we’ve been making Friday procrastination that little bit easier by scouring the web for a random, non-snowboard related video so you don’t have to. Here are our most popular Friday Finds of 2012 in reverse chronological order:

5. Awesome Slip ‘N’ Slide at 1000fps!

These guys and gals certainly know how to do a slip ‘n’ slide properly, bringing a cheeky kicker and multiple paddling pools into the mix. Throw in a camera that shoots at 1000fps, a cheesy tune, some overweight dudes and some girls in bikinis and you’ve got yourself a slice of internet gold. A great one to watch if the cold weather’s been bumming you out lately.

4. An Unusual Art Attack Creation

Watch as Neil Buchanan teaches us how to cut out, draw and paint. Can you tell what it is yet?

3. Hangboarding – What. The. F*ck?

The bastard love child of snowboarding and erm, hang-gliding. Look out for the synchronised drop in and hangboard jibbing. Oh, and extra props if you manage to get through this without ‘surrendering to the hangboard’. Completely bizarre but still way more legit than these things.

2. Ghetto BMX

Borat meets Danny MacAskill. Who needs a high end BMX/trials bike when you’ve got a vintage ladies bike (with a handy modification)?

1. Cat Grinding the Crack

Everyone knows that the internet was founded on videos of cats doing dumb things. With almost 4 million views on Youtube, there’s a high chance you will have already seen this awesome parody of Jeb Corliss’ wingsuit viral. Even so, it’s definitely worth another watch – it still gets us every time. Kitty Corliss, we salute you.

Editors Choice: How Real Men Open Beer

Step aside puny bottle opener/fork/key/tooth, you ain’t got nothing on this.
