Freddy ‘The Fox’ Austbo is a bit like Shaun White, except he doesn’t have ginger hair or a pro model razor scooter. And he keeps it way more real.

That was the opening phrase from the Rhythm Snowboards press release for this rad little concept video of Fredrik Austbo.

Freddy shreds on the Norwegian halfpipe team and also landed a 4th place finish in Bowl at the Mystic Cup skateboard contest in Prague last week, and from this edit it’s pretty clear that he rips transition just as hard on concrete as he does on snow.

Pretty amazing how well the shots fit over each other eh? We’d love to see something similar from a  jib/rail perspective although having to skate around with a GoPro on a pole shoved down your hoody doesn’t look all that appealing we must admit…
