Dew Tour Nike Street Comp Highlights – Jamie Nicholls gets 2nd

The UK’s Jamie Nicholls once again staked a claim to being one of the best rail riders in the world at the inaugural Nike-sponsored Street Style contest in Breckenridge over the weekend. The course, which included some sick features like that concrete barrier rail that Jamie lands a 450 on to, or the dumpster seemingly designed for backflipping out of, was set up slap bang in the middle of a street in the town. With the competition running in a lose jam format, the session attracted some pretty sizeable crowds. Red Bull’s reporter described security being “nearly overwhelmed”.

In the end, Jamie’s tricks were enough to beat Sam Hulbert who claimed third place, but not quite enough to take the top spot from Eric Beauchemin. However, we have our suspicions that the comp was in fact won by Whitelines’ web editor Sam Oetiker in disguise. Seriously, the likeness is uncanny! And Sam took some time off work last week…
