You can’t exactly blast Alex Lopez for jumping on the surf-style shred trend that’s rippling (more like tsunami-ing) through snowboarding right now when he’s the goddamn son of legendary surfer Gerry Lopez.

Famous dads aside, this is a sick little edit from the same guy that brought us the amazing Ben Ferguson edit from a couple weeks back, featuring Mr Lopez getting some carves and surfy pow lines in at Bachelor.

We love the vibe of this one, and while it may not feature the gnarliest tricks or steepest lines, it does manage to capture the incredible feeling of surfing snow pretty damn well. If you can’t relate to this edit, you clearly haven’t been riding enough this season!
