The Rude Lodge Morzine

Le Paradis’ dance floor

A bizarre boudoir complete with satin pink, faux leopard print chaise longues and a light up dance floor

Anyone who’s ever been to Morzine, France will have memories of the Paradis night club – a bizarre boudoir complete with satin pink, faux leopard print chaise longues and a light up dance floor. More in keeping with the Moulin Rouge or Boogie Nights than a typical French ski town, Le Paradis stood out from all the other night time offerings of Morzine with it’s wacky decor and eccentric owners. It was a sad day indeed when it closed its doors for good in 2010.

Moulin Rouge glamour, but in The Alps

But no longer! Groovy chalet company Rude have bought out the club and are restoring it to its former glory, original pole dancing platforms included!

Better yet, they’ve also acquired the old hotel that sits above and are renovating it into The Rude Lodge – cheap but very cheerful hostel style accommodation. This just what The Alps has needed for years: affordable shred digs that let you spend more on what matters – The Shred.

As well as twin and bunk rooms they’ve even included their own après ski bar and lounge area, complete with the latest in Xbox tech and a constant supply of WL magazines – heaven!

Head over to their website to see about booking yourself an affordable holiday with a twist this winter, and don’t forget to pack your dancing shoes!
