Sneak Peak: Shops 1st Try 2026

Take a peak behind the industry curtains at some of next years products....

From January 18-20 the snowboarding industry once again descended upon hochfugen Austria for 3 days of product testing and hot lapping with colleagues, buyers and shop staff from around the globe as part of Shops 1st Try.

For many attendees, this is the chance for shops to decide what products they want to buy for next winter.
For brands, it’s a chance to meet with the shop staff who are selling their products and hear their feedback from customers. A feedback loop that is absolutely vital to ensuring that you, the reader get the best product possible next winter.

For us here at Whitelines Snowboard Mag, Shops 1st Try plays a vital part in our month long mission to test as many of next year’s products as possible so that we can curate the Whitelines 100 list of the best gear for you next year.

Having rattled through over 100 products, we’ll save you the gory details of each lap (that’ll follow in our reviews next year) and instead skip to what you really want… SNEAK PEAKS OF NEXT YEARS BOARDS!
