Soft flexing biax laminates offer a predictable ride when you get it onto hard pack snow, an easy repair extruded base means you don’t have to worry about throwing it around in the park, and the full poplar core, while not the most performance oriented, it is the most stable in the Rome line.

Bamboo rods are milled into the core in the nose and tail, in previous years they’ve been wrapped in carbon to boost performance, but for 22/23 Rome have scaled it back slightly to make the Heist more mellow. It’s still poppy and pliable in the tips, but a little easier to handle and it takes less to butter around and press it.
