The Aaron Schwartz is a new addition to the stacked Lobster line-up and this board is their answer to the ‘short and stubby’ range that everyone is frothing over recently. Designed to be ridden 5-10cm shorter than your normal board, you’ll see that good things come in small packages.
Volume shifted boards are getting more and more popular and when you see a board like this one, you can fully understand why. The Schwartz has chosen to stack its surface area across the width rather than the length, the result is a much more manoeuvrable board. Perfect for tight tree runs, quick slashy turns and nifty carves.

With a fully directional chassis you’re all set to bomb down groomers and pow fields alike, the stubby tail is gonna keep you able to turn and burn regardless of the conditions. The swallow tail reduces surface area towards the back, forcing it to sink more in deep snow, and thus keeping your nose up easier.
The Aaron Schwartz will skim across the top of the snow with ease and has the powder riding capabilities of a board much bigger due to the sheer width and the big spoony schnozz. Pow 3BT dramatically lifts the sidebases in the nose and slightly in the tail to keep you surfing with no dramas.
Whilst definitely more geared toward pillow lines and piste partying, this board will still be a demon through the park. The full camber will load itself up effortlessly for those ollies and 3BT is always gonna be super forgiving when you’re wanting to get some hot laps through the park.
Potentially not an all-out quiver killer, but it’s certainly a mind melting option that you’ll struggle not to have fun on.
